BwanamichJust returned form Easter Tarangire over the weekend. I'll post a pic of a buff that will have you drooling

I "almost" ran him over with my car so that I could score the trophy!!

crbutlerI hope that guy is hanging around when I get there.
I leave in 12 days, and spend a whole 3 weeks chasing things like him (I hope)!

Depends where in Masailand - starting a 21 day hunt in the 1st week of December may also be have its negative side.
If the rains are moderate you'll have a ball!

You could have just bumped him and got a closer look.

BwanamichFujo,
He was outside the park boundary in the so called "buffer area", but I suspect NOT quite past the 1 km mark! Lokisale/Naitolia boundary area not far from "sunset hill". Had I had a permit and rifle in hand, it would have been VERY tempting to try to "herd" him beyond this point and plug him.

Mich:
The "buffer area' boundary is similar to the imaginary line between Oldonyo and Lolkissale mountains that 'marks' the concession boundary between SGCA and Lolkissale; 'one leg in one leg out'
