chuckmaxmanSeven Years Ago This Month.
Went in for a routine Colonoscopy. I knew I was in trouble when the nurse came in after the procedure and told me "the doctor needs to talk with you". I was told I had a large growth and I needed to see my doctor immediately. I had 2 feet of my colon removed and all the lymp nods around that area. It was Cancer.
My reason for writing this is two fold. If you are 60 you need to have a colonoscopy.

Secondly,I leave Saturday for my 7th African Safari since my surgery. Don't wait to go hunting. Life is to short.
I AM A LUCKY MAN.

LittleJoeI am glad you are still with us to write this post. Good luck and god bless.
My father-in-law just had a brain tumor removed and I am praying I can get him to Africa next year to tag along with me. You just never know. Cancer is a scary thing.

FjoldI just want to echo Chuck's warning. I had a scare about 3 years ago that was luckily benign but it really made me think about my priorities in life.

bwanamrmAmen Chuck! Look forward to reading the report on your 14th safari! Good hunting.

Shit happens and you are screwed.
And to hell with money, can't take it with you so blow it on your bucket list.
It already hit too close to me couple of times.
