.470, without question. You will pay dearly, but the oddbox of Hornady, Federal or Norma will be avaialable from time to time in the bigger places or from private sources if you're lucky.

Standard nitro calibers can be found the oddball stuff is extremely limited. I believe 450 thru 577 available. But price is another question.

I can't speak for all or even most of Africa but a couple of years ago i was in Harare and visited a large gun store there. They had a very large supply of all Brirish Nitro express calibers in Kynock brand. the even had several hundred rounds of .500/.465 ammo.

As far as which is most popular, I would guess it would be 470 just as it is the most available in the states.

Use Enough Gun
Pricey ain't the word! I needed some 375 H&H ammo while in Zim last August-September and "the" Indian source in Bulawayo wanted about $300 a box for it. 470 NE ammo was going for close to 1K a box. Incredible what they'll try and stick you for, for forgetting or running out of your ammo! Suffice it to say, I got by without purchasing any.

Is it lawful for G S CUSTOM or other similar businesses to load ammo and sell it?

I don't know if I would thrust Kynock ammo. A couple years ago my PH was using it and he said he couldn't get his double to close on some Kynock 450/400 3 1/4 inch. He decovered the flange diameter was too big so he trimed it down with a grinder and it closed fine after that. I don't think their quality control is what it should be.

Had the same problem with 500NE KYNAMCO ammo and also had to do a 'trimming' job.

As long as folks like GS Custom have the neccesary manufacturing licences over here they can load ammunition.
Otherwise illegal. Not even legal for me to load ammo for a buddy unless he is involved in the process.
