Alexander Lake - contemporary of John Hunter?
I have a book by Alexander Lake, who was apparently a contemporay of J.H. Hunter. But I have not heard of Mr. Lake other than this. Please recount experiences of Mr. Lake, and if photographs are available, they would be appreciated.

Lake was a very interesting man and yes, he did know Hunter but you'll find it easier to find out about him by reading his books, which incidentally, you'll find halfway down the page here:

If you read 'Hunter's Adventures' check out his cooking recipes etc..... bizarre ain't in it. Eeker
