SaeedPotentially devistating news for some (Updated w/pics)
Apparently the fire started by an electrical fault.
Also, it seems the 101 pounder shot last year was amongst the lost trophies!
What a bummer!

zzzTaking a deep breath.
I just found out, I am safe with two sets of large Ivory in Bulawayo.
Safariland Taxidermy has informed me they quit using the burnt warehouse last year. They were on a list in one of the links listed, but apparently not involved.

I'm glad to see that a sense of entitlement is not unique to this country. Ever heard of accidents? These things happen. That is life. Reflect on the loss and be glad that you at least had the experience of having taken your trophies and move on. This is not to take anything away from the tremendous loss of people's trophies but to go to Africa to kick butt and take names is a little, I don't know, overboard. Just sayin'...

PalmerMy regrets to those who lost their trophies.
This might be a good time for the shipping company to consider building smaller warehouses spaced at least 30 feet apart.
