First "Monster Croc " Taken
We finally made the inaugral safari in our "monster croc'" area. This bugger has about a foot of tail missing or he would be a serious contender for SCI # 1.

Lake Chamo and it's a special hunt for the big croc's. No, I won't be back in Ethiopia until next February. We are actually shut down of our own choice until October (Mt nyala safari) this year. I'm going to Colorado the last week of this month to meet with Jason Roussos to work on next years brochures and scheduling.

Here's another shot of the big guy.

Here is just over 17 ft on the straight, not the curves.

I am fairly sure that the late Gomek was sent to America from Australia and in Australia he was called Oscar. His buddy Cassius is still in captivity in Australia and Cassius is a bit bigger again.

Many years ago my interest in crocodiles forced me to go and see both Oscar and Cassius together. To say that they took your breath away is an understatement.

I am curious to know how long it is even with the missing part of the tail.

Did he lose his head over a piece of tail?

Perhaps I was right the first time. Guess we'd have to roll him over to find out!

Ingwe,

17 foot and change over the curves. The way SCI < !--color--> scores them.
