bwanamrmThe Nickudu African Files
What can I say, Nick, but great work! I really enjoyed the African wildlife pictures. I have screensavers for life now. The other thing that is really impressive is the number of huge buffalo the contributors to this forum have taken over the past few years. There are some excellent heads in that collection of photos from all over Africa. Thanks for your time and hard work pulling your files together. We appreciate it!

WillNickudu,
I thought I was suppose to be posting "thank you's" but I cannot reply to any of the posts.
Also I cannot get the pictures to come up. Me? or something else?
I wrote a story for African Hunter called Buffalo Tales (or Tails, I forget which). Since I can't get Aagaard's similarly titled story to come up, I am going with "Mine is better."

NickuduSeems to be O.K. from here, Will (?). Can you open "any" pictures? How about over in the Buffalo Album?

Mickey1Hey Nick, it took me about 10 tries to open the 404 article to all of the pages.

NickuduGuess I'm damn lucky to have this cable modem. I'll try, again, to make the pictures a bit smaller (faster loading) but each time I've done so, the quality of the text suffers. Sorry, so many of you are having problems. Nothing wrong with Villagephotos, you understand, simply too large a filesize, per page, for fast loading on regular modems. I've tried scanning at both higher and lower resolutions and then playing with image size but the results are not good across the board. Dial up modems and lack of memory and/or Mhz are going to be slow loaders, for sure. I'll keep experimenting.

Mickey1Thanks Nick, I hate to sound like I'm complaining about all your hard work and am ungrateful. I guess I should move off of the end of the phone line.

NickuduComplaining? No, way. I'm glad to know of it, much as Greenbaum must be, as he struggles to de-bug things. I'm thinking maybe I should repost the first series of articles?
