LorenzoSafari Air Cargo Systems cc. ??
Do somebody knows about them?
My taxidermist in South Africa told me that my Botswana ans RSA trophies are ready and he can send them with this air cargo company.
Any other recomendations?
Thanks

LHowellI have used Safari Air Cargo [ in Johannesburg ] for both my shipments from South Africa. I have shipped both raw and finished trophies without any difficulties.
In 2003 I used their ocean cargo deal with Fauna and Flora in New York City but that would probably not be an option for you. In the process I exchanged many emails with several of SAC staff and found them very helpful and cooperative.

WinkMy experience with Safari Air Cargo was excellent, including my stubborness about giving me a "delivered-to-my-door" price. Their first reply was that they can't do much about customs duties and local delivery costs with the transit agents at the other end. I remained stubborn and they found the right transit agent (in Belgium as the French trophy clearing agents are a rip-off) and the whole thing went off perfectly at a pre-arranged price. I just waited for the crate to be delivered to my door. If you work with them they will find the solution.

butchlocif your trophys are mounted I'd check on ocean transport. My last shipment they wanted over 9000 for air and ocean was 3000. took exactually 1 month gete them here. I figure that I can wait another month for 6000. and everything came through in good shape.

Andrew McLarenThey are a true professional outfit. Good enough for me to recommend to Andrew McLaren Safaris' clients. Never been disappointed yet.

stubbleduck47I used the SAC / F&F ocean transport connection to handle mounted trophies from RSA to Minnesota last year. Easy to talk to / deal with, absolutley no damage to mounts and about half the cost of air transport. I don't think ocean transport is an option for "Dip and ship" hides and horns.
