Freak Impala
Here is a freak Impala we saw at the Lake Manyara Park after our safari in Simanjaro. PH Brian VanBlerk said he has never seen one like it ever

That is pretty unusual.

I have seen some with nearly straight horns (and shot one like that) that the PH told me was needing to be shot as they will tend to kill the other Rams when they fight. I guess this is the opposite.

Was going to suggest it may be a female with a hormone problem. Magnum had a writeup a year or two ago on buck with funny horns (sorry guys, it was a while ago) and they were, as far as I can remember some sort of weird in-between gender - eg females with no uterus, etc ...

Sorry, it was a while ago.
