when I was a kid on the ranch

pulling bog we called it

a stuck in the mud old herd bull would charge and hook at you every time just as he came out of the mud

pull like hell and then run like the little son of a bitch he knows you are

we would laugh

now days i would just get caught that's all there is to that

Last week, we rescued a young bull buffalo from a mud hole. A bit scary as he came up.

Sadly, the local MET came though, found it sitting (we suspect it was recovering from the stress) and deemed it food.

They killed it.
