OMUHONARe: Back from Namibia- Farm Felseneck
DesertRam, Peter, Richard, Bob, thank you all for the kind and friendly words. This is what special memories are made of, it sticks longer than a perfect broadside shot on 300 yards.
Peter, the successrate you asked about is 45-50%.
I did not find them baboons and then I tried the 30-06 ammo you left me on a baboon myself. The same thing happened, it dropped out that tree like only they can, good sighn of a solid hit for a short distance, but never saw it again.
Richard, I need a date from you, please mail me,thanks.

DesertRamAnd Elanza (a near spitting image of Christine)...
Peter, I believe you had just left (gone a couple of days) when I arrived at Felseneck. Helgaard was still talking about your baboon shooting!
It's a great place run by great folks. If (rather "WHEN") I return with the family, Felseneck will be high on my list. It has all the amenities a wife and children will appreciate, with good hunting and cold beer to keep me occupied.
Rufous, Omuhona is Helgaard's "handle", so communicate directly with him. I believe that Farm Felseneck will have a web site shortly. Helgaard, the ammo I left you was not the same as I used! I used 180gr. Nosler Partition reloads in my 30.06. The box I left you was Weatherby factory ammo using Barnes X bullets. They probably zipped right on through without expanding! Naturally I believe you and Helifa when you tell me that all my baboon hits were good hits!
Peter.
DesertRam....Don't believe a word he said!!! Actually as you can gather, there are several members of the Farm Felseneck fan club here, and I, of course, am also a member. Did he ever find the baboons I shot?
Peter.
