Gringo CazadorAndy Hunter, anybody hunted with him
In the event I can get out of the hunting dog house with my wife ( I have 4 wks vacation and the only week I took I went to Mexico to hunt whitetails). Anyway if I can manage to take my wife to Italy and have hunting money next yr I would like to hunt Buff.
I've traded a few emails with Andy Hunter, he seems like a straight shooter, anybody know of his areas and have hunted with him.

Bill CAndy is indeed a no-BS kind of guy, and I think a very good hunter. When I hunted Chewore North w/Buzz Charlton, Andy was there hunting with a guy from the midwest for buffalo. They took a nice buffalo (~38" and hard), hippo, hyena and a heck of a good bushbuck right out from under Buzz's and my nose.
Andy knows Chewore very well, hunts hard, knows all the various fauna/flora, and has a reputation for getting whatever game he is after. I like Andy's style.
Here'a a link to a web album (a bit slow to load) w/pict's of Chewore North, and one of Andy w/a tuskless I shot:

N'gagiI was supposed to hunt with him last year, but ended up rescheduling with another PH.
I shared a camp with Andy in the Zambezi Valley and he was a good chap to have around camp in the evenings. His client seemed very happy and everybody I know who has hunted with him was very happy (at least from the research I did). He shipped my trophies over for me and was helpful along the way.
Andy and i e-mail back and forth once in a while, and he always follows up. I spoke with him by phone the other day, and look forward to hunting with him myself.
