The title is "Eternal Enemies" by Nat Geo. My sixth graders get it at the beginning of every year. It tells them what life was like while we were evolving on the plains of Africa. The remarkable thing is that ferocious as both of those species are, what predator ends up dominating the planet . . . ? Puts things in perspective.
