Last night I placed an order for AR15 and M1A magazines, tonight, most are sold out, and the few that are left are double what they were last night!
It has begun, again!

lee440What are they asking? I went to the Houston shows the last two weeks running and thirty round new GI AR mags were averaging around $14. We have another coming up this weekend. Brownells are making damn good 30 rounders, you might check them out.

Samuel_HoggsonThis is an inventory problem. There is no ban in effect today. Manufacturers will likely ramp up production, as possible. There is no sense paying gunshow scalper's "special" prices on mags and ammo at this point. I would get on a wait/alert list with a respectable vendor - and there are many, including Brownell's (they are currently sold out).
These frenzys are great times to pick up under the radar stuff. Nobody is rushing to buy garands, .30-06 ammo, and garand clips, for eg. Not much you can't do with a M1.
I hate to say this, but there is no excuse for arriving late at this party.

shawnmcIt was one of those times, I had recently sold a hunting rifle, what to do with the cash? Go buy somes stuff

, additional M1A and AR mags are nice to have. So Monday night I orderd what I wanted. Then Tuesday night I thought about a couple more, logged on only to find every site I visited was sold out of anything of quality. Some, no back orders, some had doubled prices from whay I had paid the night before.
I was just makeing a statement, we have seen this before and this one will probably stick.

RustyWith Obama's press conference Wednesday, the "rush" is on for weapons and mags. It's going to get crazy for a while and stocks will be hard to find. When you do find them, they are going to be expensive.
