Look into the 20 Practical before building a .204 ruger
The 20P is a very fast round and brass is cheap
But to answer your question....most people have little to no problems with 5.56 mags

I was actually thinking about this as it uses 223 brass.I am interested in a fast twist for 40grain and up bullets.OB

Yep!
Easy to find .223/5.56
If a guy has a .223 Redding bushing die all you need is a different bushing

I ordered a 24" SS Bull in 20 Practical with a 1-10 twist from McGowen.It should screw right on my RRA Varmint Rifle.I have used their barrels on a 22-6MM and 7X61 Sharps and Hart that I built.They both shoot tits!!!
