KabluewyLatest on the 30 Remington AR??
I did a search and found nothing recent on this topic. I'm wondering what's happening with this cartridge?

GeorgeSIt is currently being overshadowed by the .300 Blackout craze.

KabluewyI find that hard to imagine. The .300 blackout is just another anemic pea shooter, for tacticools and sniper wannabees, not even close to the same catagory. So far apart in performance, I cant see one competing with the other.

SmokinJProbably the same thing that is almost happening to the 6.8 Rem. Isn't it ironic Remington not only doesn't chamber a rifle for it anymore (that I know of) they don't chamber an AR for it which it was designed for.

Go to that site and on the right click specifications and you'll see it's not chambered in the 6.8 Rem. I was talking about the 6.8 not the 30 R.

KabluewyI misunderstood. I thought you were talking about the 30 AR, which is the subject of this thread.

Well what I was getting at is it was mentioned why there wasn't so much news about it anymore and I said hell Remington even quit chambering their own cartridge the 6.8 which was designed for a AR 15. They did for their bolt rifles when they didn't have an AR 15 yet and now they do that caliber is gone. Doesn't make sense.
