BISCUTFN QUESTION
I came into a FN 223 upper. I'ts never fired and in excelelent shape. I want to sell it but cannt find out any information. Anyone know best place to find out? I did try FN and they hadn't a clue.
It's labeled 223 REM SPORTER
Cant find it on the net either. All the searches I come up with lead to SCAR version of traditional AR-15 uppers or FB barreled AR-15 uppers.

56hawkAn FN upper for what? FN has made a lot of different 223s. If it's not an AR-15, my first guess would be an FN-FNC.

SmokinJIt wasn't awesome enough to keep the gun in production. That guy selling that on Gunbroker is nuts, it's no ways worth what he's asking for it.
Good luck on selling your upper. It's going to have to be someone that has a lower to buy it because it's no longer made. Either that or someone that has that rifle and just wants a spare upper.
How many thousands are you asking for it? Don't let that Gunbroker ad go to your head.

BISCUTI thought he was nuts as well!! I don't think it's worth that new nevermine used. At least my upper is new!
Not sure of exact price yet but was looking around $1200.

Rub LineFNC's can be sent to curtis higgins and legally converted into a registered machine gun by having a registered auto-sear installed. I'm not 100% sure, but i think the upper is the receiver on these, hence the increased value, $3,000 is about right for a semi-auto rifle. Auto sears usually go for another $2,500-$3,000, curtis will do the conversion for $600. These are extremely dependable and reliable weapons, they take m-16 mags and have multiple configurations. The FNC is a damn nice machine gun and you will have a hard time finding anything even close to as good for the money.
If you have an upper half and want to get rid of it, PM me!
