jst picked up a Stoner SR-25 had to trade off a bright stainless 6''python ,and my M1A NM,per-ban,the Stoner is like new condition just wanted to know what type of ammo i should shot ?any help?also need to find some mags for it i was told that dpms mags would work?

I have a "little" experience with a Stoner SR-25.

I recommend you try Federal 168 and 175gr Match ammo, and Winchester 168 gr Ballistic Silvertip.

If you need extra penetration try Federal Tactical 165gr, or Federal 165gr Trophy Bonded Bearclaw.

the one i had digested most anything, but if i remember right it was sort of made around the 168's. can't remember what mags it used, I'mm half way thinking that FN's worked hellova rifle though. don't know what ever got into me to trade it off, but i think it was something with 2 barrels
