FN49 with no markings on reciever..

FN49 with no markings on reciever..
It is in .30-06..but no contract marking as shown in the litterature..

And..the barrel has BNP (british nitro proof marks)
Can some of these have been used by brits in UN service,in Congo perhaps.?

I bought it as surplus in Norway 1983..
