My buddy Rich works for Sig here in Exeter NH. He picked one up a while ago that he did the build on (they do an auction every month at a 20% wholesale discount). They are so back logged he is working mega OT and has no time to shoot it.

PeterNot sure what the "classic" is, but I have the non SWAT version. I love it! I am buying a scope for it to fully test the accuracy. It is heavy, and I am getting ding marks where the ejected brass is hitting the receiver just behind the port. The gas piston certainly gives the gun a totally different "feel".

PeterOK can someone explain the two position gas setting? What is it supposed to do? Do you just use it when the gun needs cleaning?
Thanks, Peter.

DuggaBoyePeter,
It really doesn't come into play unless you're in the Sh** or you never clean your weapon.
If it is the former and you've been down and dirty , firing alot, unable to clean and you have extraction issues; thenyou can turn it "full-on" for a somewhat limited period until you're the He## out of there.

I'm waiting to get it. I got it from a gun shop in KY and they have to ship it to my dealer. It was NIB for $1750.

DoglegI had the approved for Canada version for couple years. Due to some serious hair splitting including changing the name it is considered a sporting rifle, whereas an AR is restricted.
Anyway, it was a very accurate, 100% reliable 10 pound .223 that didn't fit into my life much as a coyote getter. As a military weapon it's probably as good as a .223 gets.

PeterHere is mine. I guess it is not a Classic. It currently bears a red dot which does not do it justice. I am planning on mounting a Millett.
Adjustable stock is fully extended
