Getting the pivot pin out...
How do I get the forward pivot pin out of an AR lower receiver? A friend without the requisite tools has bought a set of these pins that have extended heads on them. They allow for very easy gripping and extraction of the pin. I have the tools. What I need is a tip or two. Thanks.

when it pivots to 90 degree it should just push out . when new they are a lil tight i always used a cleaning rod and just pushed enough so i could grab the other side.
