Does anyone know what year the Pheasant Forever gun had a pair of flying pheasants engraved in the rught side of the receiver - birds were gold plated and does anyone know know what was engraved on the left side?

Nope! The writing on the barrel says "1st Annual Youth --- and I should have mentioned it was issued in either 28ga or 20ga and the one in the link is a 12 ga

Turns out it was the 1994 DU gun from Winchester Model 12
