Hey fellas need some input,found a parker hale 30.06 with perfect bluing wood was pretty good. Price was 199 and I believe that could come down as the recoil pad is shot. Is it worth it and are they fairly accurate? Oh action looks like a mauser where did that come from? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello;
Used to own one. Spanish Santa Barbara action. I bought it because it was good value for the money, circa 1965. No regrets, but I fell victim to the sales talk of the big name brand manufacturers.
