.303 Martini- Henry question
What are these worth? Bore is good, overall good condition and finish. I know nothing about them, other than I think they are neat and I want one.

Frank, I have several Martini's but no 303's. From the ones I see I'd expect to pay $500 and up for a decent one, maybe getting as high as $900 for a really choice rifle. Try these Aussie sites for the best prices, I've bought two from over there and had no import problems as long as they are pre-1898,

Jansa doesn't seem to be working just now but I've listed it anyway.

Jansa got raided by the police 3/6/03. They siezed 2700 guns & gear for failing to have secure storage. Not sure what the future is yet but the law courts work very slowly.
Us non-dealer collectors reckon Jansa is over priced anyway. He has been selling 310 Cadets for $AU350-395 when you can buy at gunshows for $AU130-200. 303 Martini currently about $AU300-500. 577/450 from $AU900-2000.

$AU - $US = 0.67
