i have 12 ga winchester model 12 pump shotgun with "U.S." and bomb stamped on the side of the reciever.

the serial on the reciever is 1020929

there is a different serial on the barrell assembly, which is nearly illegible, but seems to read "LL2953"

some of the trademarkings/patent dates are worn down, and some of the blueing (very slightly) has worn off the muzzle. otherwise, it is very clean and in very good condition - no significant nicks or dings on the stock/forend/or reciever. the barrel is open bore.

i've been told that the gun was military, and served as a riot/security gun for the MPs.

any information (particularly what i ought to expect to be able to get for it) would be appreciated.

I have handled one Military Winchester Model 12
riot gun in my lifetime, and that was in Korea
in 1989. I understand they are very high dollar
