COLT SERIES 70 DATE OF MANUFACTURE

Folks, I have a series 70 Colt 45 serial number C70L23614. I can't seem to correlate that number to a specific year. Can anyone help me determine this is an original Colt? EVerything else seems to be correct. thanks, jorge

If it starts with a C is it a Commander model? I don't see anything in the 1911 stats.

If I understand what is said in this link then it may have been made between 1976 and 1980, but that is my interpretation:
