There was a guy in Vegas last year with a couple dozen of them in various grades. The plain grades in the black box were priced $1100 and up depending on variations and condition.

Jbelk, I have a restored M99 in 30-30 caliber, it has the take-down barrel so that one could insert another in perhaps .22 HP or .410 caliber...so I've been told.

If I were to sell or trade it how much do you think I should place a value on it.

Gun really looks sharp and showing no signs of wear on the bluing or case harden lever.

Haven't shot it in over 20 years, but it was extremely accurate rifle with the buckhorn type sights.

Was thinking about trading it for a really nice 3rd model S&W in .44 special or .45 LC.
