Age of Colt Police Positive

My Lt. recently came into possession of a Colt Police Positive, 4 in barrel, 38 spl. The serial # 876xxx. Can anyone tell me when this weapon was made ? Thanks,

According to my book on Colt's dates of manufacture your .38 Colt Police positive was manufactured in 1965, that's if I'm reading it correctly.
