back in ice ages, early 60s, an old family friend that owned ranches in mexico had an extensive gun collection, all displayed in his living room. only old stuff. pepperboxes, lemon squeezers 94s, 73, on and on. maybe 100 or so. he was giving em away as he was getting real old and his relatives weren't interested. not the one i wanted, but we wound out with an old colt SA army off one of his ranches in mexico. said a life long old vaquero carried it for many years on the ranch.
1883, 44-40. obviously not the gun belt designed for it.
