My brother in law just puchased an over/under 12 guage shotgun from a police supply store. The only identifying trait to it is the word "Baikal" Anyone know about this type of shotgun that could give some info (manufacturer, location, etc...)

Baikal is the manufacturer. They are made in Russia and imported by European American Armory. Supposed to be a good quality gun at a low price. I think Remington is going to start importing them but I could be wrong.

I have had one of the SxS short barreled 12ga Coach Style shotguns from them for quite a while. I am peased with the fit, finish and overall quality and I was thrilled at the price.
