I have recently acquired a barreled FN Mauser action. Any information on this model would be appreciated. It has the standard "standing lion" and "PV" acceptance marks on the bolt. The right side of the receiver just above the recoil lug is marked "MADE IN BELGIUM" and just above that there's the FN logo in an oval. The left side of the receiver is marked with e "Standing lion" and "PV". There is also "N" with a star above it and a diamond with a bar protruding upward from it. Serial number is 5X4X or 5X : 4X Near the recoil lug there are two tiny squares with "9" and "7" stamped inside. The recoil lug and trigger guard are also marked "ML". Can anyone provide information regarding this action? Thanks.
