just found a very old shotgun
we were just cleaning out my wifes grandparents house. (they just past away.) and found a very old shotgun, its in rough shape and obviously used hard for a long time. i cant find any info on it and wondered if anyone of the experts has heard of it. it says conneticut arms company on the receiver. no serial number or gauge markings. it is a break open single shot design with a manual hammer. a bird barrel with an octagon portion at the beginning of the barrel where the shell goes in. the wood is very used, the stock is cracked at the grip and held together with some sort of old twine. ill try to get some pics on later today. thanks for any info.
