Winchester collection at Gordy's
Just got back from a run to see my daughter and her family in the Woodlands and had some time so I ran by Gordy and Sons on the way up. If you are ever in Houston with time to kill this is the place!

Anyhow I ran across a collection of lever guns a gentleman from New Mexico had place there for sale. Guns were in impeccable shape for there age. I picked up a Model 64 in 25-35, there was another and several 53's and 92's in interesting calibers like 25-20 and 32 WCF 32 Special etc. Alas, the 218 Bee and 219 Zipper were already gone. Also a few old Marlins as well. Worth a look or call if you have a gap in your lever gun collection.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling
