Win. Model 70 .225 Winchester Value?
Could someone tell me the approximate value of a Model 70 in .225 Winchester? It was made in 1965 and has been used but is in very good condition. Thanks in advance.

These were post 64 push feeds and you almost could not give the away 10 years ago.
The .225 is having a bit of a resurgence now:
In Dallas , in 50% ABOUT 300 , pRISTINE ABOUT 900.

The .225 win. is a great round. The rifle is a TRULY COLLECTABLE piece, one of the gest if not the best of the push feeds. Dr.C

i bought mine in 1978 as a sophomore at texas a&m.... i traded a mossberg .243 and $200 for mine.... seial number makes it a 1965 model, with the red "w" on the pistol grip... it was topped with a weaver 6x dot...this thing eats 52 gr boattail hp's.... 3 shot 1/2" groups at 100... topped now with a redfield 4-12....i see them on gunbroker for around $600.... sometimes more... a very unique caliber, easy to shoot, recoil is very tame.... it'll be the last win m70 i ever get rid of...and ive got 14 of them!!!
