yellowdog1Military Ruger target .22
I have a chance to buy a Ruger Mk I target 22 that is stamped with U.S. on the top of the reciever. The serial number shows that it was one of 4,000 in the first group of Mk I's the goverment bought in 1956. It is in good condition with a little bluing wear, mostly in the grip area. Would the fact that is stamped U.S. and is one of the first group bought by the goverment add any collector value over the normal price of a used Mk I? If so, would any of you Ruger collectors care to give a ballpark value?
Thanks in advance.
