I would suggest you take the serial number, check it out at http://armscollectors.com/sn/winlookup.php?file=winxx62.dat

Confirm the age, then check against similar guns on the various auctions or with Winchester dealers. I have found that prices vary a great deal due to age, condition and alterations.
