This is from a northern Quebec hunt I did a few years ago. The forest is very thick and swampy, you won't be sneaking up on any bears in it so baiting is done there. Lots of bears there!
I made a heart shot on this guy. He weighed 245 pounds.

Aspen Hill Adventures
There was a perpetual swarm, all biting flies and skeeters. I had a hat with a bug net on and even had to wear gloves. This was a June hunt and it was very hot and humid out too. A thunder storm had gone over me about half an hour before the bear came in. He was soaked as well.
You were up in a treestand!!!
