Shot my Bow today
I shot my bow a little today, and after several shots I tried something different.

I had been holding the bow fairly loose, so I tried holding it a little firmer, BUT NOT MOVING MY ARM AFTER THE RELEASE, ie maintaining my "aim" after the shot.

My group was much better. My "call" was spot on.

Also, this seemed like a more natural hunting technique.

The biggest thing is repeatability.

I have found that a loose grip with just my index finger resting on the riser works best.

Some folks have an open hand other will almost grip it till it bleeds...

What works best for you is just that, what works best....

Just keep on shooting.

Its the only way you will get consistency.

Enjoy it

I think that's a good idea. Sounds similar to what I do and I can't afford to shoot groups. archer
