Fire nocks, any one using them?
I was looking into lighted nocks. I was told by a few guys, that the fire nock is one of the best. So I ordered 6 of them to try out.

Anyone here using them?

Thanks

I have used Lumi nocks last year and they are great for hunting.

Would be intrested in hearing what you think of the fire nocks.

I will always try and hunt with a lighted nock.

As soon as I get them, I will do some testing on them.

Did some shooting with them, they work great. They lit up every time. Very easy to shut off, all you have to do is tap the nock end on a hard surface from about 6 inches, and they turn off.

They are very bright and easy to see in flight.

Installed my Firenocks today. Put them into GT crossbow arrows. Went in slick as could be. Light up every time on close shots (still lots of snow here). No chance of light going on by itself like magnet or even push/pull models can. Accuracy testing will have to wait till the white stuff is melted.
BTW, also installed Luminocks on arrows for two other crossbows while I was at it. The GT is supposed to take the same nock that fits 2219. It does but considerable trimming is necessary. Takes a fine touch with a small file that has one dead side. Made it work, and enjoyed doing it, (I make my own strings, cables, string jigs even hydraulic bow press); it wasn't something that the non-doityourselfer will find easy.
They function as advertised but fit is critical as the nock has to move in under pressure to ignite and be wiggled out to turn off.
