A Facebook "friend" of mine made a statement yesterday and I don't know if I'm being hyper-critical or not.

He made the claim that he's hunted "just about everything" in North America with a bow and was getting bored with it. When I asked if he'd ever hunted wild hogs, he said "Yeah, but I never got one." As near as I can figure, he's taken some whitetail deer and a couple of small black bears. He's never hunted any of the western game animals as near as I can figure.

How can someone make a claim like that when it's obvious (to me at least) that he's barely scratched the surface of hunting? Should I call him on it or just let it go?

Let it go. He just may not be as excited or serious about hunting, as most of us are.

Its easy to say you have gotten bored when you have actually gotten frustrated.

I decided that I'd just let this particular comment slide. But I've put it to him on a couple other posts...
