PoppaWI saw the one with a standard chest shot with one of these and it looked like it wasted most of the turkey. As a head shot tool it looks pretty good. I wonder whats been stopping these guys from the challenge of doing this with a regular broadhead. Much more sporting.

Idaho Sharpshooterthere is no (self)restrictive form of hunting with a special season that someone is now working 24/7 to try and get around the intent of the law.

I don't think a regular broadhead is more sporting. Using the larger broadhead and taking a head shot assures a clean kill or a miss whereas you can connect with a regular broadhead and be off just a little resulting in a lost bird.

oopswasthatyourdog?I wonder what they mean by '' shoots just like a field point'' blades spinning around the front of your arrow have to cause some form of g-force. Maybe they mean shoots just like a field point up to 15 yards.
In my opinion too many ''bowhunters'' try to take shortcuts when it comes to practice and fieldcraft. Learn to shoot your bow well and consistantly. Know your limits! Part of bowhunting is passing on a shot that exceeds your limits. If you can't put shots consistantly in the kill zone on paper or on a 3-d target you wont be hitting a real bird in the thick of the hunt......practice more!!! Or at least know that you can't safely kill that bird at that distance.
Just my 2 cents worth.
