Buck Photos
Here's a couple views of my October 1st buck.

He's not the biggest but is the best as he is the earliest deer I have ever taken. Only my second buck to date too.

Hey Turtle, thanks! Actually I took these yesterday afternoon. It was the first nice day here in a long time. I killed this buck last Wednesday and it was too dark for photos then. So when that happens I do my photos just before I process the deer.

He's all steaks now. THAT means I will be back to the stove, er, the BBQ. [Big Grin]

If you remember the pictures I sent last year the one buck ( 12 pointer ) is back. Guess what? I messed at thirty yards [Frown] . The good thing is that I missed soooo bad he didn't get all that spooked [Smile] . I am going to try him again on Thursday so I may have the grill going too [Wink] . The dear in Pa have been acting strange. I saw some chasing going on and it seems that this is way too early for them to be getting horny [Confused] .

Well back to practice and

Great looking buck and awesome pictures way better than any of my deer pics. The way you have him posed give the picture depth and captures the surroundings. No tongue hanging out or blood and guts way to go!!!!

Ann,

You ALWAYS have great pics. I suppose that some of this is an outgrowth of your work but you certainly know how to apply the skill set to different tasks.

All the best (and I hope you're feeling better).
