calgarychef1now is the time to make decoys
Well it's not spring yet and once spring comes then the chores start to pile up. Pretty soon it's hunting season and we start to scramble getting stuff ready. It would be a good time to buy a sheet or two of corplast and cut out some deer decoys. Spray paint them in the manner of a deer and store them away in the garage.

Plinker603Is corplast that waterproof cardboard material like they make political signs out of? If it is, i might have to wait till closer to November

That stuff works great for target backings, too.

Me too!
Nuthing like getting it delivered free of charge and they stick it right in the front yard! Nice big 4 x 8 sheets thats only printed on one side and pristine white on the other!
Actually i only took one they didn't come and get. If i find a place to buy it i would, it's very useful and if the decoys work as good here as what they did for you, it sure would be worthwhile to try making some.

calgarychef1I see they sell the stuff at Rona- a hardware store. I buy from Cadillac plastics in Calgary and it's a lot cheaper. It's still only about 14 bucks for a 4x8 sheet.
