ivan carterfrom ivan carter re german kinetic broadheads on elephant
hello people ,
i have just guided a hunt for elephant ...we took a bull and a cow , both without a shot fired which was excellent . on both animals the arrows hit rib but still penetrated well enough to do the job . The hunter , Bob Serrano was using German Kinetic broadheads and they were simply excellent , even after that tough bone , no deformation at all .
anyone have any idea where i can get a bunch , would like to keep them for future elephant hunters .
thanks in advance

bulbwerksHello Ivan,
It's Ben Britton, I think the broadheads can be purchased from the US supplier

GooseGood luck! I believe there are three places in North America you can get them, when they are available.
Herb's Archery in New Brunswick
Alaska Bowhunters Supply in Anchorage
German Kinetics USA in Colorado
If there is some where else I have not heard of it.
I have not heard anything about Markus (the guy that makes them) lately but I believe he was looking for someone to take over the making of these broadheads due to his "real" job. There is usually a waiting list, and they are very expensive for broadheads. I use these also and I cannot believe there is a better broadhead any where in the world.
Good luck!

nampomMarkus is still very much involved with German Kinetic. You can also contact him directly info@german-kinetics.com
The Bow Shop in Pretoria sometimes also have stock.
Ivan, how long was the shot on the Elephant? Did you take pictures of the entry wound, did it cut the rib? What vitals?
