woodieNamibia Bow Hnt
I just recently returned from my first trip to Africa.I hunted with Allen Cilliers on a bowhunting only concession.Everything about the trip was amazing. The food was outstanding ,the critters were every were and accommodations were amazing.

My very first animal was this beautiful 41 inch Gemsbok.I was so pumped to watch her go down after about fourty yards. What a way to start a trip.

Next came my Kudo The shot was quartering away but I only got one lung. The tracking that took place was beyond description. We went over eight miles and the Bushman tracker was unreal. He was able to get me within twenty yards and I was able to finish the deal.

My blue Wildebeest went down in sight as well things were really starting to heat up now my list was getting shorter.
This is the Stallion that I was sure was never going to give me a shot.He then made a serious error in judgement .He only made it fifty yards.
This was the only Bore I saw in ten days.I thought this would be one of the easy trophies to get.Boy was I wrong!
Well when this really old Eland came walking in at last light I had to make a decsion .Eland was not on my list but he looked so huge from the pit blind I couldn't resist .It was amazing to watch such a huge animal go down inside fifty yards.
I can't say enough about Allans operation .This trip excecded my wildest expectations.
shoot straight. Woodie
