Don't know diddle about archery, particularly regarding fishing gear. Need help putting a rig together. Quarry is gar, 20-50 pound range, shooting distance very short, maybe 8' arrow head to fish. They are powerful when motivated...what's your pick?

My pick would be the closest bow handy.
