I was considering buying bushnell Pro-BOW Rangefinder and was wondering how well they work? Are they in the way of your site?

I wouldn't want a rangefinder mounted on my bow if that's what the Pro Bow does.

Think I'd prefer a pocket model.

Shortmag, I just saw one on E-bay as I was looking for a rangefinder to use with my new bow also...the directions show it mounting with the bows site, Seems to me that not only might it interfere with the site, but it will add unwanted weight and vibration, and change the balance. Think I'll be going with the handheld.

I've got one, its VERY unreliable. you can hit hte button several times in a row and get different readings each time.

not 1 yard different, 5 - 10 yards different or more.

the beam might be so wide it hits a bunch of stuff on the way out, but..... i'm holding it as steady as possible.

In other words, i dont trust the readings, which means its useless to me.

GSXR7/11 Thanks" Cabela's had that Pro-Bow Rangfinder for $199 that sounds like that might $199 throwed in trash if I went that way.What handheld modle would you or anyone recomend for bow and rifle.

Shortmag, I think I know where you can pick one up cheap!

I have two of them, they don't block your sights if you put them on correctly, and I also wondered about the accuracy but I check them all the time at known distances and haven't found either one to be off more than about a yard.
