Anybody know what's the best way to clean old fletching/glue from a shaft for refletching??

It depends on the shaft & glue used. On aluminum I used to just srcape with an old pocket knife with a dull blade.

On crown diped shafts steam with losed the dip and the feathers.

You can scrape the newer carbons but be carefull. Laquor thinner is a good clean up.

Thks Boss-- this is what i've been doing short the laquer thinner-- i've heard that for the fletching to get a good grip on the shaft it should be cleaned with some sort of solvent besides simple scraping-- i'll try it.
