Chirster, I bought one last year and love it! It is one of the quietest bows I've ever shot. Mine has the XT-3000 limbs which are a bit longer than the 2000s. It is a bit picky on the grip, but once you've got your form down, it will stack the arrows real close - so close, you might want to use a different aimpoint if you don't want to be replacing expensive arrows.

Good Luck and good hunting.

Thanks Tony

I am looking at the XT 2000 model with 70 pound weight.

Christer, I don`t think you can go wrong with any of the Hoyt tec bows. I have a Cybertec and like it so much I bought a second one as a back up.
You`ll find the tec riser quiet and minimal hand shock.

Good Luck Ted

I currently have a Sport MT, and I am getting a HavocTec: small and quiet... this is to compense for my wife [Eek!] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

With a Hoyt, you cannot go wrong!

Thanks for the response

I hope I can get one before I leave for South Africa in middle of July. That would be great to shout a bow of my own instead of the PH:s bow.

Ok now it's done. Just ordered this bow and will start practising on daily basis and hope to get the chance for at least one animal at the next trip.

Good luck! Hoyt makes a nice bow. I have shot a buddies ultratec, I liked it. Are you shooting with a release and a peep sight?

I have a 2000 UltarTec and love it. Shot my first bow turkey with it this spring. Like mentioned above, the grip is a bit touchy, but once you get your form down it shoots great. I have the built in overdraw with my bow. Hoyt won't disappoint you, this is my third one. Did have a Mathews Q2 once, and it was pure junk. I wouldn't shoot one again if they paid me. couldn't hit the same spot twice.

Got my bow yesterday and after a couple of hundred arrows I must say it feels great. Up to 35 yards I get them were I want to (havent tried longer distances yet.)

Tomorrow it will be packed together with my 375 for a trip to Africa.
