You can't beat the Summit Viper with foot rest and gun rest. We(my son and I) have about tried all of them.The viper is the easiest to attach to the tree and has the most comfortable seat. You can buy at Caabelas for around 240.
Even better for a larger man is the Goliath..

Had a lot of Summits over the years, Got a new Viper and it's also good. I also preferred some of the older (non cable) attachment stands. For a climber Summits are great, and I have had one Lone Wolf, it is excellent as well, my summits are a little more comfortable for me.

I was dreaming of a climber. I chose a Lone wolf climber and it's the best thing I have ever done. Very light to carry, I can scuttle everywhere, silent, efficient, very secure.... A real dream. I don't give a damn about trying other devices..
